Top Post of 2024

As we enter into the new year, I wanted to share a top post from 2024.

It was a meaningful one to me, and one I am passionate about.

When we fulfill our role as men,
Families
Businesses
Churches
Communities
… all thrive.

It’s worth striving after, but it’s hard.
We drop the ball
We lose our temper
We give into laziness
… we fail.

Even when we fail, it’s worth trying again.
It’s worth the hard conversation.
It’s worth making things right.
It’s worth the extra effort.
It’s worth the selfless act.
It’s worth the push just to make it through.

Striving to be the man you are called to be is worth the fight.

Don’t allow apathy to win your fight.
That’s exactly what Satan wants.

Keep pushing!
We need men in the arena.

Work Hard // Trust God

We are starting the first session of the Project: MAN cohort tomorrow.

I am excited to see how God moves through it. We will be going through fantastic resources that have changed my life and many others, and also some additional content I’ve put together.

I’ve worked hard on the cohort, but there are still uncertainties and doubts.

Honestly, leading up to this cohort has been a challenging season of life. I’ve had failures as a husband, a dad, and life has been kicking me down (to top it off, we had a sump pump failure, and our basement flooded last night).

I’ve questioned my calling and purpose. I’ve wondered if I should change course.

It comes down to my lack of faith in God. In no way have I started this movement because I have it all together. I started it because I felt called to do so, and I need to work hard but then trust God with the results.

I am staying on mission in 2025. My goal is to stay dialed in and focused on what moves the needle for my business, my job, my family, and my relationship with God.

Starve vices.
Stay focused.
Kill distraction.
